About Me
I am Bhavya Mandanna, a Christ University graduate with a Bachelors in Media and Communication. I completed 250 hours certification from Yoga Alliance in Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha yoga, Mudra Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Acro/Partner Yoga and a bit of Pre-Natal yoga as well.
I have participated in the Reebok Cross-fit Challenge in 2014. My objective is to maximise my full potential of being a committed holistic yoga and fitness teacher, where I can educate my clients to my fullest capability and gain as much hands on experience and exposure to dealing with different types of people in terms of body types.
I have been an athlete for the most part of my life and have represented the State at many National Meets and have also been placed at the National level.
Quitting my full-time job to become a full time fitness trainer because I love inspiring and helping people get fit. Being an athlete I’ve always loved motivating people and being outdoors.
I started off as a general fitness trainer and then moved onto becoming a yoga instructor.
My journey into yoga has been an interesting and exciting one. I learn something new about myself every day. I conduct yoga sessions for my clients as a private yoga instructor and take group classes as well. I also customise classes based on what my client is looking for. My classes are planned in a balanced manner, as I understand the importance of a holistic development.
I have always been a person constantly striving to be better version of myself everyday both physically and mentally.
Athletics made me see that, it helped build my character and the person I am today. Working at a desk job didn’t give me that kind of satisfaction and motivation to be better every day, which was when I quit becoming a fitness trainer, since then I haven’t looked back. I slowly realised that physically I was become stronger but mentally something was missing. That’s when I shifted to yoga because I realised the importance of holistic development; sound body and mind.
Yoga has helped me achieve a lot of things personally in life and this journey has been an inspirational and educational one.
